I recommend this hotel. Very central location, good hot breakfast, brilliant staff. It's warm with exceptionally comfortable beds and amazing views. Very close to a boat dock, nice lovely area.

place was reasonably clean and cosy. staff was welcoming and helpful all the time. beautiful bathroom, absolutely spotless, luxurious room. gorgeous interior, popular restaurant. quiet location, minute walk from lake windermere. it was off the main road.

Every detail was second to none in this hotel, including staff and location. The bedroom was great sized, appreciated it. Eggs, hot waffles, jam, fruit and pastries for breakfast were the BOMB.

Wonderful location, lovely bed and, of course, outstandingly accommodating staff. Satisfactory breakfast, brilliant service. I enjoyed a comfortable decor and smart furniture. It was a superb stay, you could leave a car nearby.

Location and staff were fabulous and I especially truly enjoyed that the place was fairly clean. Incredibly beautiful views towards the mountain. I used public parking on site.

Satisfying breakfast, staff is helpful. An electric kettle, a fridge and glassware were a plus. Location is amazing - couldn't be better. We enjoyed pizzeria Charcoal Grill, situated 500 metres away from the hotel. Thank you very much for a fantastic stay

The hotel was really close to lake windermere. One of the dining options, Bodega Tapas Bar, was 5 mins walk away.
